Leading into 2010 we predicted capital expenditure would remain fairly flat, and that after a slow 2009, wineries would probably be happy to sit on the fence. Year-end feedback from vendors and lenders pretty much confirmed our thoughts. The good news is WBM’s latest 2011 Equipment Survey suggests the malaise of 2009 and 2010 is gone.
